With the raiding of dragon hoards, the Cube of Gratitude was put together for all Adventurers to claim and reap the rewards it offers. We’re making the Cube of Gratitude event available as a “thank you” to players while we continue to address and implement solutions to resolve the server latency delay issues.

Event Details

  • The Dragon Weapons of Gratitude Event is taking place on the Lineage II servers only.

  • The event will begin after maintenance on August 5 and will end on August 19 at 6:00 a.m. server time.

  • On August 26, the following items will be automatically removed from players’ inventories:

    • Cube of Gratitude

    • Dragon Weapon Coupon

    • Basket of Gratitude

    • Basket of Gratitude and Love

  • On September 2, the following items will be automatically removed from players’ inventories:

    • Freya's Ice Rose (Event)

How to Participate

The Cube of Gratitude

After the maintenance on August 5, visit the L2 Store and pick up a Cube of Gratitude for 0 NCoin (one per account). The Cube will reward a Basket of Gratitude. The Basket contains:

  • Vitality Maintaining Rune (2hr)

  • Dragon Weapon Coupon

  • Freya's Ice Rose (Event) (x10)

  • Dandy's Home Run Balls (x2)

  • Emperor's Special Cocktails (x2)

The Cube of Gratitude can be opened once per day with the reset happening daily beginning at 6:30 a.m. server time. The Cube can be opened 14 times and on the 14th use, it will yield a Basket of Gratitude and Love. The Basket of Gratitude and Love contains:

  • 1 Vitality Maintaining Rune (2hr)

  • 10 Freya's Ice Rose (Event)

  • 2 Dandy's Home Run Balls

  • 2 Emperor's Special Cocktails

  • 1 Dragon Weapon Coupon

  • 30-day Boss Jewels(5 items)

    • Blessed Antharas Earring (30-day)

    • Blessed Valakas Necklace (30-day)

    • Lindvior's Earring (30-day)

    • Tauti's Ring (30-day)

    • Earth Wyrm Heart Ring (30-day)

Exchanging Dragon Weapon Coupons

Dragon Weapon Coupons from the Baskets can be exchanged at NPC Roa in any town for a Dragon Weapon (1-Day) of your choosing. Due to the game’s latency delay with melee attacks, melee attacker weapons can be exchanged with 1 coupon and bow/shooter weapons require 3 coupons.

Roa's Daily Buffs

On top of exchanging Dragon Weapon Coupons for Dragon Weapons, Roa NPC has two special buffs that last 5-hours. The buffs can be claimed once per day with the reset at 6:30 a.m. server time.

  1. Gift of Gratitude

  • For 5 hours, XP/SP Gain +30%, XP/SP Gain in Vitality mode +30%, P. Atk./P. Def./M. Atk./M. Def. +15%. Buff remains after death, but is deleted when entering the Olympiad/Ceremony of Chaos. Does not stack with Deton’s Red/Purple Potions.

  1. Roa's Support Buff (as a bonus for melee attackers due to the ongoing melee attack delay issue)

  • For 5 hours, P. Atk. +10% when using melee weapons. P. Atk. Critical Rate and P. Skill Power increase by 10% for 10 seconds when using normal attacks with melee weapons (Roa's Cheer chance effect). Support Buff remains after death, but is deleted when entering the Olympiad/Ceremony of Chaos.
