The Ertheia, a once great and noble race, planned an immediate migration to the Wind Spirit Realm with the help of Sayha during the War of Gods and Giants. But many of the Ertheia objected to such a foolish plan, especially while many of their kinfolk were off exploring, and would be lost when King Zephyron implemented the great migration. King Zephyron did not listen, and led what Ertheia were present, to the Wind Spirit Realm.

For the remaining Ertheia, Sayha wanted them to be safe so he pleaded with Fairy Queen Timiniel to hide the Ertheia in Wind Village in the Material Realm. Fairy Queen Timiniel readily accepted and consumed most of her strength to help hide the village from the world.

Some of the Ertheia happily stayed in Wind Village, content to remain hidden in the Enchanted Valley, but the more free-spirited folk roamed the continent, adapted to their environment, and eventually evolved. Separated from the rest of their race and utterly different in lifestyle and appearance from their ancestors, they called themselves Sylph.

As time passed, Fairy Queen Timiniel’s power waned as she plunged into a monstrous madness, and the Power of Border that she had established for Wind Village dissipated.

The reemergence of Wind Village and secret civilization of Sylph in the Enchanted Valley stirred up the continent of Aden, but Sylph ruler, Queen Andros, anticipated their discovery and was prepared to announce their existence in Aden to gain cooperation and support from leaders of other races.

Sylph Race

Evolved from the Ertheia tribe born from the influence of Sayha, and once protected by Fairy Queen Timiniel, the free-spirited Sylph long for freedom and live a nomadic life with no borders. The driving force of their power comes from Sayha’s Grace that Sayha sent down to Material Realm to help the Sylph but ultimately changed the Material Realm forever.

The Sylph utilize the power of the wind at will and can hone this ability to master the power of the air. They are magic users, but unlike their ancestors, they utilize elemental power rather than mana.

Sylphs are hybrid combat with a tactical edge and style of fighting that consists of attack patterns proficient in both melee and ranged engagement and high maneuverability. They can automatically change their weapon based on the distance between them and their enemies, and their speedy style of combat allows them to manifest two kinds of power at once to turn the tide of battle in their favor.
