It’s watermelon season and there’s nothing more refreshing than biting into a juicy fruit or growing your own with Watermelon Seeds. However, you may soon have to defend your watermelon stock as King Watermelon is back to terrorize the farmlands!

The Summer Watermelon Bash is taking place on both the Lineage II and Lineage II Classic servers.

The event will begin after maintenance on August 4 and will end on September 1 at 6:30 a.m. server time.

How to Participate
Players level 105 and above can talk to NPC Doorooroo, who is available in all towns. Doorooroo will give you a Watermelon Seed every day for the duration of the event.

Watermelon Seed |
When used, creates a watermelon that chases away the heat of summer. Smash the watermelon to obtain a refreshing buff and to have a chance to obtain a Cooler. Depending on the size of the watermelon, the duration of the buff and the amount of Coolers you get will vary. |
Using the Watermelon Seed will randomly spawn one of three different watermelons. Smash the summoned watermelon immediately for an event buff and a chance to receive a Cooler depending on the event buff you get.
All party members in a party will also receive the buff from the Watermelon if it is smashed when they are nearby your character.
You will only receive one of the following buffs after smashing the Watermelon:

How to Participate
Hunt Monsters

The Seed of Revenge has a chance to randomly drop from monsters you hunt in hunting zones. The Seeds have an increased chance to drop during these times:

King Watermelon Raid
-
Starting at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. server time, talk to the Farmer LeaderNPC Olf available in each town for a free teleport to the farm in danger of the Watermelon Raid.

Only players Level 60 and above can participate in the raid. Players Level 59 and below will not be able to use the teleport.
-
The King Watermelon Raid will start daily at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. server time.
-
Farm Monsters will spawn and King Watermelon will appear 5 minutes later.
-
A star effect buff will appear over the head of players who attack King Watermelon.
-
After 10 minutes, King Watermelon (if not defeated) and the Farm Monsters will de-spawn.

Rewards
Players Level 60 and above who participate in the Watermelon Revenge Raid will receive a reward for completing the event mission: Participate in the Watermelon event. This event mission requires defeating 2 Farm Monsters during the raid and can be completed once a day for the duration of the event. Players will receive 50 Seeds of Revenge for completing this event mission.
If the player has successfully attacked King Watermelon during the raid, they will also receive (1) Sayha’s Storm Lv. 3 and (1) Random Transformation Scroll by talking to Farmer Leader NPC Bredo who spawns after the raid. Be quick, though, because he is only available for 30 minutes. One lucky player in the raid who has earned 5 stars has a chance to randomly receive the 1st Place Raid Reward of a Brilliant Jewelry Box Lv. 3. Be on the lookout for that reward because the time to claim it is limited!
