Lineage II Classic is now live, and with a return to the challenges of the past we’re hereby calling on all Lineage II artists to lend their skills to this rebirth of a classic. We’ll be giving out exclusive goodies for those who win, including the possibility of seeing your work as an in-game loading screen. Before you start sketching your ideas, be sure to read the official contest rules for requirements and eligibility.

 

Design

Submissions must be digital artwork, in the theme of Lineage II Classic, and must be your own original work. We appreciate there’s a lot of existing Lineage II fan art out there already, but we’re specifically looking to reward new pieces that play on the theme of a classic Lineage II experience. That means we shouldn’t see current raid bosses like Zaken, and classes like Kamael and Ertheia. Any designs that violate a copyright or someone else’s intellectual property will be immediately disqualified.

  • All entries must be digital artwork and in .jpg format, 2048x1536 (or larger) and 72ppi resolution.

  • One entry per person and they must be your own original creation.

  • No text or watermarks, and entries must not contain any potentially copyrighted or trademarked designs.

 

Judging & Prizes

The Lineage II team will select five winners, who will each receive a prize package consisting of:

  • Artwork showcased in Lineage II Classic as a loading screen

  • Classic Chronicle Pack (if you already have one then a prize of equal value will be substituted)

  • Freya’s Shopping Bag: Includes reusable canvas bag, Lineage II Classic Extended Mousepad, Elpy plushy

 

Judging will be focused on creativity, originality, and ability to follow the Lineage II Classic theme and style. Winners will be announced here on the Lineage II website on October 29.

 

Submissions

All entries are to be submitted to L2Community@ncsoft.com by 11:59pm PDT, October 21 and should include the following:

  • Email title: Lineage II Classic Loading Screen Art Contest

  • Your in-game character name

  • Server name

  • Country of residence

  • Statement: “I confirm this is my original artwork to be submitted as an entry in the Lineage II Classic Loading Screen Art Contest.”

Entries that don’t meet these requirements may have to be disqualified.
