Nothing says October like dress-up and candy…so we’ve joined forces with our friends at Butterfinger to throw a Contest that incorporates BOTH! Introducing the Lineage II/Butterfinger Low-Cost Cosplay Contest!

What’s a low-cost cosplay, you ask? It’s when you recreate a character or image to look like the original, but you use low cost items or method (sometimes things you just have lying around the house) to recreate it the best you can – cooked spaghetti in place of long blonde hair…a garbage bag over your body to represent a black dress…you get the picture.

We’ve got some great prizes up for grabs for the best Lineage II low-cost cosplay images! Here are the details:

  1. Enter between October 20th, 2022 and 11:59pm Pacific Time, November 10th
  2. Pick a Lineage II image (either one you have captured on your own in-game or one from our website (https://www.lineage2.com/en-us) and low-cost cosplay it! The image can be from Lineage II, Lineage II Classic or Lineage II Aden.
  3. Create your entry in .jpg image format with the original on one side and your low-cost cosplay image on the other (for comparison purposes).
  4. Email the image to L2community@ncsoft.com with Lineage II Low-Cost Cosplay Contest in the subject header.
  5. In the body of the email, include the following:
  6. Your game account name (if applicable)
  7. The version of Lineage II that you play (Lineage II, Lineage II Classic or Lineage II Aden) (if applicable)

It’s as easy as that! 

Here are some other important details to be aware of:

  • So sorry, we always try to be as inclusive as possible, but this time around The Lineage II/Butterfinger Low-Cost Cosplay Contest is only open to residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to enter
  • ONE ENTRY per person only
  • Keep your entry APPROPRIATE – entries with inappropriate or vulgar imagery will be disqualified
  • Entries will be judged on: creativity, difficulty of re-creation and overall quality
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be awarded
