Lineage 2 is actually a prequel to the existing Lineage game, but by looking at it, you'd never know it.

...the ambience is ever-present, reminding you that you're somewhere not of this world. The medieval setting helps, because the basic rules of give and take are there, and that lends a certain sense of familiarity to an otherwise foreign land. The interface itself is very simplified and, in fact, the entire game can be controlled with the mouse if you so desire. (There are keyboard shortcuts for most everything as well.) Where some games have convoluted control schemes, NCsoft has gone to great lengths to make Lineage 2 feel natural to both veterans and newbies alike. There's obviously a few new things to learn, but everything at this point feels natural and well-implemented.
