Patcher Maintenance 8 - 31 Connection Instructions

Today the Lineage II update servers were moved to Dallas as part of our data-center relocation. Because of this move, some users may difficulties connecting to the patcher. This can easily be fixed by following these simple steps:

1. Close the patcher.
2. Click on the Start button in your Windows interface.
3. Click on Run.
4. Inside the text box, type "cmd" and press Enter.
5. Inside the black command prompt box, type "ipconfig /flushdns".
6. After the process is finished, restart your patcher.

By doing this, players should be able to connect to the game with no further problems.

Server Maintenance - 8 - 31

All servers will be down for maintenance Tuesday, August 31st at 8am PDT / 10am CDT / 11am EDT / 3pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 4 hours.

Freya Screenshot Contest

Lineage II Freya has arrived on the live servers, and there is much new content to explore! The Freya Screenshot Contest asks you to travel to the new and re-vamped areas to take screenshots. By winning this contest, you will not only be awarded with some fun and useful in-game items as prizes, but also your winning screenshots will become Official Screenshots, forever immortalized on the Lineage II website! Get your screenshot folder ready, and come explore the new places!

Freya PTS Feedback Survey

The Freya PTS was the first of its kind. It included GM-run activities, lots of admin and staff presence, and admin-run raids on the new boss and areas. Freya Installation Server Maintenance - 8 - 24

The latest Lineage II expansion, Freya, will be launching tomorrow! All servers will be down for an extensive maintenance Tuesday, August 24th at 6am PDT / 8am CDT / 9am EDT / 1pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 7 hours.

All characters will be moved to the nearest town during this update.
With this maintenance, the Freya Celebration event will begin.

Emergency Maintenance on Phoenix - 8 - 20

The Operations Team is going to be performing maintenance for the hardware for the Phoenix server to address the geodata and pathing issues which began after the hardware upgrade. Phoenix will be down for emergency maintenance Friday, August 20th at 12pm PDT / 2pm CDT / 3pm EDT / 8pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 2 hours.

Freya to Live Servers on August 24, 2010

On Tuesday, August 24th, 2010, the live servers of Lineage II will welcome the latest game expansion: Freya! The new Freya client will be available for download on Monday. Log in on Tuesday to experience the exciting new content and take part in the Freya Celebration Event!

Account Services Notice

With the upcoming launch of Freya on August 24th, 2010, any Account Services purchased between August 17 and August 30 will be processed on August 31.

This means we will not be processing paid services on Freya Launch Day.

Server Maintenance and Hardware Upgrade - 8 - 17

All servers will be down for an extended maintenance Tuesday, August 17th at 7am PDT / 9am CDT / 10am EDT / 2pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 10 hours.

You may have noticed several maintenance notices regarding other NCsoft servers moving to data centers recently. Now it's our turn! During this maintenance, the Lineage II game servers are being restarted inside of a new data center. Previously, the North American servers were located in either Los Angeles or Washington, DC. Now, all of the North American servers will be located in Dallas, TX.

All servers (both North American and European) will also be upgrading to new server hardware tomorrow.

The Seattle staff of Lineage and Lineage II are hosting a combined Meet & Greet in Seattle during the PAX Prime expo! Come meet the staff and fellow players and fans of both games during this fun live event!
