About the Lineage® II Character Name Change Service |

Rules and Requirements |

Please read the Lineage® II Character Name Change Service Rules and Requirements below before you purchase the service.
All account services changes are final, so please keep that in mind before you apply one of them to a character.
- You are allowed to change a character's name only once every three months.
- When you request a name change, the change will be made on the following maintenance day (Tuesdays between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM Central Time).
- You must create a new character with the desired name in order to reserve the name. This character must stay at Level 1, and must be on the same server as the character who will be receiving the name change. The old name cannot be used by anyone else (including yourself) on that server once the name is changed. The old name can never be used on that server again.
- The Level 1 character that is reserving the new name and everything associated with it (items, Adena, etc.) will be deleted once the name change process is complete.
- Once a character's name is changed, the old and new name will be logged on a special section of the official Lineage® II web site.
- You must remove the character who will be receiving a name change from his or her clan/alliances before you request a name change, and until the change is made.
- Characters that have Hero status cannot change their name until they lose Hero status.
Please be aware that when your character's name is changed, the old name and new name are logged on the public Character Name Changes page.
This data is public is to prevent abuse of the Character Name Change service, and also to provide friends and clan mates proof of who you were before the name change. |

Log Into PlayNC |
| |
Go to the PlayNC Account Management Page and log in to your PlayNC master account. |

Click on Game Accounts |
| |
Once you are logged in to your PlayNC master account, click on the Game Accounts link on the PlayNC Account Management page. |

Select Active Lineage® II Game Account |
| |
Click on the active Lineage® II game account that you wish to apply the Character Name Change Service to. |

Purchase an Account Service |
| |
Click on the PURCHASE ACCOUNT SERVICE link on the Game Account Details page. |

Select Character Name Change |
| |
Click on the Lineage® II Character Name Change button on the Lineage II Account Services page. |

Select Payment Method |
| |
Click on the drop down payment method options on the Lineage II Account Services page. Select the desired payment method, then click on the Buy with Credit/Debit Card button to continue. |

Enter Billing Information |
| |
Enter the requested billing information on the Lineage II Account Services billing info page, then click on the SUBMIT button. |

Confirm Purchase |

Check the payment details, then enter the four letters/numbers shown in the image at the bottom of the page in the text box. Once you enter the letters/numbers, click on the CONFIRM PURCHASE button to complete your purchase. |

Successful Transaction |

After you click on the CONFIRM PURCHASE button, your transaction will either be approved or denied. If your purchase is denied, please go back and double check your billing information for accuracy. If your transaction is approved, you will reach a page that looks similar to the image below and you will receive a confirmation e-mail that contains a receipt of your purchase. |

Use Your Character Name Change Now |

Once you've purchased your Lineage® II Name Change, you can choose to use it right away, or save it for later use. If you wish to use it right away, simply click on the Use code now link on your transaction approval page. |

From the Use code now link, you will be taken to the Apply Serial Code page. Click on the APPLY CHARACTER RENAME button to continue. |

Use Your Character Name Change Later |
| |
If you wish to use your Name Change later, you will find a new RENAME CHARACTER link on your Lineage® II Game Account Details page. |

Select a Character |
| |
After you click on the APPLY CHARACTER RENAME button on the Apply Serial Code page, or the RENAME CHARACTER button from the Game Account Details page, a list of all eligible characters will appear. Please follow the rules closely. Select the character whose name you wish to change, then press the SELECT button to continue. |

Select a Name |

Select the name you wish to change to, then press the SELECT button. Please note, you must create a level 1 character with the desired name on the same server as the character whose name you wish to change. This level 1 character and everything associated with it will automatically disappear when the name change process is complete. |

Final Name Change Confirmation |
| |
Once you select the character whose name you wish to change, and the name you wish to change it to, you will be taken to a final confirmation screen. Please review the data for accuracy, then press the CONFIRM button. |

Successfully Queued |
| |
After you press the final CONFIRM button, your account service order and application is complete! You will see one final confirmation screen letting you know that your selection has been queued for processing. All account services go into effect during the following Lineage® II weekly maintenance, which is on Tuesdays between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM Central Time. |
