Love is in the air and the Queen of Hearts returns to Aden to spread the joy of cooking tasty Valentine Cakes!

Event Duration

The Valentine Cakes event runs during the following dates:

February 13 to February 27, 2013: Main event period. The Queen of Hearts event NPC is in towns and villages, and the designated ingredient items drop from monsters and/or are sold in the L2 Store and L2 Galleria.
February 27 to March 6, 2013: The Queen of Hearts event NPC remains in-game. The ingredient items no longer drop from monsters and are no longer sold in the L2 Store and L2 Galleria.
March 6, 2013: The Queen of Hearts event NPC leaves the game and the following event items will be deleted:
- Recipe: Valentine Cake (item and crafting skill)
- Valentine Cake
- Tasty Valentine Cake
- Delicious Valentine Cake
- Perfect Valentine Cake
- Dark Chocolate
- White Chocolate
- Crème Fraiche
- Miraculous Valentine Cake: Special Ingredient

Event Process

1. Get the Valentine Cake Recipe

Speak to the Queen of Hearts NPC to receive the Recipe: Valentine Cake event item.

Double-click the item to register the recipe into your Common Craft recipe book. You can verify that your recipe is properly registered by finding it in the Common Craft window, from the Skill window.

2. Get the Ingredients

Dark Chocolate

Obtained as drops from monsters, or purchased from the L2 Store or L2 Galleria, or sold by other players for Adena.
Tradable.

In the L2 Store and L2 Galleria:

Cake Ingredient Pack: Dark & White Chocolate (L2 Galleria): Contains 10 Dark Chocolate and 10 White Chocolate cake ingredients. 1 pack per account per day.

Cake Ingredient Pack: Dark & White Chocolate (L2 Store): Contains 20 Dark Chocolate and 20 White Chocolate cake ingredients.

White Chocolate

Obtained as drops from monsters, or purchased from the L2 Store or L2 Galleria, or sold by other players for Adena.
Tradable.

Crème Fraiche

Obtained from the L2 Store or L2 Galleria, or sold by other players for Adena.
Tradable.

In the L2 Store and L2 Galleria:

Cake Ingredient Pack: Crème Fraiche (L2 Galleria): Contains 5 Crème Fraiche cake ingredients. 1 pack per account per day.

Cake Ingredient Pack: Crème Fraiche (L2 Store): Contains 10 Crème Fraiche cake ingredients.

Miraculous Valentine Cake: Special Ingredient

Obtained exclusively from the L2 Store or L2 Galleria.
Not tradable.

In the L2 Store and L2 Galleria:

Miraculous Valentine Cake: Special Ingredient Pack: Contains 1 Miraculous Valentine Cake: Special Ingredient. Lasts 15 days.

3. Craft a Valentine Cake

10 Dark Chocolate

10 White Chocolate

5 Crème Fraiche

4. Use Your Cake for Upgrades or Rewards

When you eat the Valentine Cake, you receive a random reward, or a better cake. The better the cake, the better the possible reward items or cake upgrades. If you’re very lucky you can continue to receive better and better Valentine cakes up to a Perfect Valentine Cake.

5. Make the Best Cake

But wait, that’s not all! If you take a Perfect Valentine Cake and a Miraculous Valentine Cake: Special Ingredient to the Queen of Hearts event NPC she will make you a Miraculous Valentine Cake, which has the very best rewards!
