On Wednesday, August 23, 2017 during weekly maintenance Zaken will be merged with Chronos. With this date rapidly approaching we want to make sure players on both Servers are aware of how they'll be affected by the process. First, it's important to note that the plan with this Server Merge is to transfer Zaken characters and clans to Chronos directly, instead of resetting both Servers as has been done in the past. Players already on Chronos should therefore feel little impact beyond welcoming new players to their community.
Our goal is to ensure that this process is as smooth and pain-free as possible for everyone, but especially for those of you with characters currently on Zaken or Chronos. To discuss this transition or raise any questions you might have, we've created a designated thread on the official forums. Check out the info below to help you prepare for this merge.
Seven Character Maximum: If an account has more than seven characters shared between the Zaken and Chronos Servers, priority of characters will be saved based on the following criteria:
Character Name Conflicts: If there are duplicate character names following the merge, characters coming from Zaken will have to be renamed.
Friends List: Zaken Friends lists will remain intact after the merge, except in cases where a character has been deleted.
Character Stats & Info: All other general character statuses such as Skill bar, Faction Level, Monster Collection, class, level, skills, PK, PvP, and Raid Points are transferred during the merge.
Character Items: All character items from Zaken will be transferred over to Chronos, except in cases where a character has been deleted due to the account having more than seven total characters.
Dimensional Merchant: Items stored at the Dimensional Merchant will transfer during the merge.
Auction House: Items on the Zaken Auction House will be canceled and returned to the seller’s Warehouse.
Clan Name Conflicts: Similar to character names, if there is a clan name conflict, clans coming from Zaken will have to be renamed.
Zaken Clans: Castles, Clan Halls, and Fortresses on Zaken will NOT be transferred to Chronos.
Any tax revenue from Zaken Castles should be claimed no later than the night of Tuesday, August 22. Unclaimed taxes and items stored at the castle will NOT be transferred.
The owners of Clan Halls that can be auctioned on Zaken will be compensated with Adena for the loss of the Clan Halls. Adena compensation will be distributed to the clan Warehouse during the merge. Adena compensation will be calculated based on the original purchase price and the duration for which the Clan Hall was owned.
Chronos Clans: Castle, Clan Hall, and Fortress ownership on Chronos will be unaffected by the merge, except in cases where the system would normally reset the owner, such as failure to make payments or defend a Fortress from attack.
August Olympiad Cycle: As the merge will be conducted before the August Olympiad concludes, the Olympiad on Zaken will be closed early on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.
Keep in mind that all Server Transfers, as well as other Account Services for Zaken and Chronos, will be suspended beginning Wednesday, August 16 until Wednesday, August 30, to ensure that the Zaken-to-Chronos Server Merge can be conducted as smoothly as possible. If you want to take advantage of any of these services, be sure to do so before August 16. Once Server Transfers are restored on August 30, they'll remain discounted by 90% until September 28. Check out the full list of transfer options if you're thinking of moving to a different Server.
