Awakening Class Change Service

The Awakening Class Change Service allows your Awakening character to re-Awaken as a different Awakening class. This page is a guide and FAQ that tells you how to purchase and apply the service. Please read the service rules and requirements carefully before proceeding.

 

Awakening Class Change Service Rules & Requirements

 

Very important:

  • XP level and progress restrictions upon class change:
    • If your character is level 87 or higher, the Awakening Class Change Service will revert you to level 87 at 0% XP.
    • If your character is level 86, the Awakening Class Change Service will revert you to level 86 at 0% XP.
    • If you are level 85, the Awakening Class Change Service will revert you to level 85 at 0% XP.
  • Upon re-Awakening, all previous third class skills are replaced by the skills of a Human character that would naturally evolve to the character’s chosen Awakening class. For example, if a Feoh Wizard uses the Awakening Class Change Service to re-Awaken as an Aeore Healer, the Feoh Wizard Skills and any remaining third class skills will be gone, having been replaced by Cardinal skills. The Cardinal skills are then traded in for the Aeore Healer skills. Enchanted skills do not transfer over, SP consumed by lost skills is not refunded, and no Superior Giant’s Codexes are given.

Other Rules

  • A character may use this service only once.
  • You can choose to re-Awaken as any of the 8 Awakening classes (except if you have a Dual Class). You cannot re-Awaken as the same class as your Dual Class.
  • To use this service, your character must be level 85 or higher, Awakened, and must have never used this service before.
  • You must have your original Awakening Class’ cloak in your inventory in order for the service to be processed. Once the service is complete, the old class’ cloak will be switched out for your new Awakening class’ cloak.
  • The Awakening Class Change Service applies to your character’s main class only; the service does not apply to Dual Class.
  • When the Awakening Class Change Service processing is complete, the change is final and cannot be reversed.
  • The service is processed within approximately 24 hours.

Instructions for Applying an Awakening Class Change Service

  1. Purchase the Awakening Class Change Service from the L2 Store or L2 Galleria. The item is effectively a token that acts as a proof of purchase. The item must be in either your inventory or your private warehouse during the processing phase.
    • If you purchase it from the L2 Store in-game, the item will go directly to your inventory. You must purchase the item on the character you want to give the Gender Change Service to.
    • If you purchase it from the L2 Galleria on the website, the item will go to the Dimensional Merchant on the server you chose to send the item to. You must claim the item on the character you want to give the Gender Change Service to.
  2. Once the target character has the item in their inventory or private warehouse you must contact the support team and request that they process your service. Go to this page.
  3. Fill out the form as follows:
    • Email Address: [Your email address. Please be sure to use a valid email address as the support staff may need to contact you.]
    • Subject: Account Services - Awakening Class Change Request
    • Question: Please re-Awakening my character “[character name]” from “[old class]” to [new class]” on the [server name] server.
    • Product: Lineage II > [name of the server the character is on]
    • Category: Game Play > Characters
    • Department: Game Support
    • NCSOFT Account: [Your NCSOFT Master Account, or NC Account that has this character on it]
    • Game Account: [Your Lineage II Game Account name, or the NC Account name again, that has this character on it]
    • Operating System: [Your operating system; this is not essential to the Account Service processing, but this field in the form must be filled out.]
    • Character Name: [Name of the character whose Awakening class you are changing]
    • Attach Documents: [leave this blank]
  4. Your request form should now look something like this:

  1. Click Continue.
  2. Your request has now been submitted! You will receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided in the form.
  3. You will receive an email within 24 hours saying that your character is ready to be processed.
  4. Log in to the game and respond to the support ticket (email) to notify the support staff that you are now logged in.
  5. You will receive another response to your support ticket, notifying you that your character has received part of the processing and you can now to to the Reliquary of the Giants to complete your re-Awakening.
  6. In-game, be sure your Awakening class cloak is in your inventory and travel to the Reliquary of the Giants. There, find a new NPC called the Priest of Fate.
  7. Speak to the NPC to choose your new Awakened class and re-Awaken!
  8. When done, you will have a new class, cloak, Awakening-class Aura skill, and class-specific mount skill. All previous skills will have been replaced by the third class skills of a Human character that would naturally evolve to the character’s chosen Awakening class. For example, if a Feoh Wizard uses the Awakening Class Change Service to re-Awaken as an Aeore Healer, the Feoh Wizard Skills and any remaining third class skills will be gone, having been replaced by Cardinal skills. The Cardinal skills are then traded in for the Aeore Healer skills. Q: Who can use this service?

A: A character must meet these requirements in order to be eligible for the service:

  • level 85 or higher on their main class
  • completed the Awakening class transfer on their main class
  • not a Hero from Olympiad
  • has not used this service before

Q: Why is the Awakening Class Change Service priced at $50 (4,000 NCoin)?

A: The price for the Awakening Class Change Service was established as $50 (4,000 NCoin) because it is a brand new service to Lineage II, it is processed quickly within approximately 24 hours, and it gives a player the important ability to rewrite their character’s destiny.

Q: I want to re-Awaken two or more characters. Is this possible?

A: Yes! Each Awakening Class Change Service purchased applies to one character only.

Q: How long until my Account Service is processed?

A: Currently the processing quote time for all Account Services is 24 hours. This includes the time it takes for the service request to reach the support team, for the support team to reply to you and arrange a time to meet, and the short amount of time it takes in game for your character to speak to the NPC and change their class.
