Exclusive Accessories for Clans

clanguide-1.jpgThe Crown of Lord can be worn solely by the clan leader of a clan possessing a castle. The crown can be acquired from the castle's lord Chamberlain and only be obtained after the end of a siege. Only one Crown of Lord can be obtained, and it cannot be dropped on the ground or sold. If castle ownership is surrendered, the castle lord will be stripped of the crown and it will be removed from their inventory.

Members of a clan possessing a castle can also wear exclusive circlets. Alliance members do not have access to circlets. If castle ownership is surrendered or if the player withdraws from the clan, the circlets can no longer be worn.

Members of a clan with possession of a castle or clan hall can also equip exclusive shields. Shields can be acquired from the castle's lord Chamberlain or Clan Hall Manager, and the shield can display the clan insignia. The insignia can be registered as a 64x64 pixel 256 color BMP file by clicking on the Register Insignia button in the Clan window.

If the clan has possession of a clan hall, item production must first be activated in order to purchase a clan shield. The shield will no longer be accessible upon surrendering ownership of the castle/clan hall or withdrawal from the clan.

Clan Reputation Points

When a clan reaches level 5 or more, the clan may accumulate clan reputation points which are earned through various clan activities.

The reputation score increases in the following cases:

  • A clan academy member completes a 2nd class transfer.
  • When a clan conquers a castle during a siege, 100 points are deducted from the defending clan's reputation score. If the defending clan has zero points, the new owner does not receive points. If the defending side is an NPC, 1000 points are added to the victorious clan's score.
  • Your clan holds or defends a castle in a siege (only the clan that owns the defended castle/clan hall earns points).
  • Your clan acquires a siege-enabled clan hall (the reputation score increases more when taking over a clan hall owned by another clan).
  • A clan member takes first place in the Festival of Darkness (the reputation points are distributed in proportion to the number of clan members among the highest-ranking party members).
  • Each time a clan member becomes a Hero.
  • A clan quest is completed.
  • By killing an enemy (over level 4) in a clan war under the condition of mutual war declaration or siege; however, when the other side’s reputation score is 0 or below, your clan cannot acquire any reputation points from them.

The reputation score decreases in the following cases:

  • A clan-owned castle or siege-enabled hall is taken over (when a clan’s reputation score is in the negative (-), the score may still be decreased).
  • A clan’s level is upgraded.
  • A clan skill is learned.
  • Item(s) are purchased using a clan's reputation score.
  • A clan member is killed by an enemy in a clan war (under the condition of mutual war declaration) or siege; however, when the opposing side’s reputation score is 0 or below, your clan’s reputation score does not decrease. If your clan's score is 0 or below, your clan’s reputation score does not increase.

Clan Skills

Clan skills affect all clan members when used, making them helpful in situations where clan members are working together, such as castle sieges and raid fights. Clan skills require Clan Reputation points to learn and level up. Clan skills can require additional items or Fame points to use. If a clan’s Clan Reputation points are negative, the clan will be unable to learn skills.

Once a clan skill is mastered, it can be used until the clan is dissolved. However, if the clan’s Clan Reputation points become 0 or drop below 0, the skill will no longer work until there are 1 or more Clan Reputation points.

Clan skills are first acquired as level 1 skills. When the clan’s level increases, the clan skills can be leveled up to increase their effects, and additional skills become available. A certain clan rank is required before a clan member can use a clan skill.

Clan Flag

A Clan Flag can be erected during siege battles or raids to represent the clan and to strategically boost the clan’s morale, battles, and activities by way of useful buffs.

The skill to summon a Clan Flag can be learned by purchasing the Spellbook – Clan Flag item for 1,000 Clan Reputation Points from the resident Clan Merchant NPC. The skill must be learned when the character is on their main class, but it can be used when the character is on main, Dual Class, or Subclass. The skill is listed in the Clan Skills section and can only be used by a clan member of Marquis rank or higher. Every time a Clan Flag is summoned, 100 Clan Reputation Points are consumed. A Clan Flag remains summoned for 30 minutes, with a 30 minute skill reuse delay, but the buff effect lasts 10 minutes only.

The Clan Flag applies a buff to that increases damage inflicted and decreases damage received by nearby clan members. A Clan Flag also creates an icon over enemy clan members’ head, which server to give visual indication of the Clan Flag’s range of effect for strategic purposes. If multiple Clan Flags are summoned, the effect of only one applies.

A Clan Flag cannot be summoned in the following locations: Olympiad arenas, Ceremony of Chaos arenas, Airship, Boat.

Clan Pets

A clan pet can be purchased from the Mysterious Butler NPC with 8 Mysterious Marks which are obtained from the Ceremony of Chaos competitions. There are two kinds of clan pets: the nurture type, and the combat type.

Nurture-type Clan Pet

A nurture-type clan pet summoning scroll summons a Raccoon, White Cat, or Desert Fox clan pet at random. Although name and appearance differs, the effect of each of the three pets is the same.

Once the clan pet summoning item is obtained, the pet can be summoned like a regular pet: it will be the constant companion of the summoning character.  It will fight for them with basic combat skills, it can be given a personalized name, and it has a pet inventory.

Once the pet has been summoned for a total of 72 hours (does not have to be continuous) the pet disappears and 100 Clan Reputation Points are awarded.  There is also a possibility of a Mysterious Pouch being given as an additional reward, which has a chance of yielding an attribute crystal.

The clan pet is suited for a clan level 5 or higher. If a clan pet is summoned and the clan reverts to level 4 or below, or the summoning clan member withdraws from the clan, only the Mysterious Pouch is awarded.

Combat-type Clan Pet

A Bratty Angma Summoning Scroll can be purchased by a clan member from the Mysterious Butler for 12 Mysterious Marks or 12 Castle Siege Soldier Badges. This clan pet summoning scroll does not summon a companion pet, but rather a creature that you must defeat in order to redeem a reward.

If you defeat the Angma within 30 seconds of summoning it, you are awarded 100 Fame Points, your clan is awarded 30 Clan Reputation Points, and there is also a possibility of receiving a Mysterious Pouch as an additional reward. It is difficult to defeat the Angma within 30 seconds alone, so clan members are encouraged to take on the creature as a group.

There are four different kinds of Bratty Angma Summoning Scrolls, pertaining to level ranges between 76 and 99. The summoning scroll is tradable.
