The Valiance update brings a number of changes to the crafting system, the Wondrous Cubic, and various miscellaneous item systems.  Read on for more details!



The Scroll of Blessing R/R2/R95/R99 can now be crafted:
  • Recipe: Scroll of Blessing: Weapon (R-Grade)
  • Recipe: Scroll of Blessing: Armor (R-Grade)
  • Recipe: Scroll of Blessing: Weapon (R95-Grade)
  • Recipe: Scroll of Blessing: Armor (R95-Grade)
  • Recipe: Scroll of Blessing: Weapon (R99-Grade)
  • Recipe: Scroll of Blessing: Armor (R99-Grade)
The Crafting recipe can only be registered by Tyrr Maestros:
  • Scroll of Blessing R-Grade Requires level 90 - Create Item Level 12
  • Scroll of Blessing R95-Grade Requires level 95 - Create Item Level 13
  • Scroll of Blessing R99-Grade Requires level 99 - Create Item Level 14
The new crafted Scroll of Blessing has the same effect as an existing Scroll of Blessing. However, the chance to change the item to Blessed is now 5%.
When using a crafted Scroll of Blessing, no adena fee will be charged.
The recipe "Metallic Thread (100%)" now drops from monsters.
Critical Craft only applies to Weapons, Armor, and Accessories now. Anything else such as Soulshots or Crafting Materials will NOT give a critical craft.

Wondrous Cubic

The Wondrous Cubic and Cubes have been changed as follows:
  • The adena fee for exchanging a Cube Fragment for Enchant Scrolls has changed.
  • When using the Wondrous Cubic, a new item called a "Wondrous Fragment" can be acquired.
  • Wondrous Fragments can be exchanged for Lv1-3 Dyes at the Warehouse Keeper.

Miscellaneous Changes


Hellbound Items

Recipes and key ingredients for R99 crafting and Recipes for Upgrade/Downgrade/Combination can now be acquired from Hellbound:
  • They can be purchased from NPC Budenka with Sealed Demonic Tome and Bloodied Demonic Tome.
  • R99 recipes and key ingredients: Sealed Demonic Tome + Adena.
  • Upgrade/Downgrade/Combination recipes: Sealed Demonic Tome + Bloodied Demonic Tome.
  • Sealed Demonic Tome and Bloodied Demonic Tome can be acquired from hunting monsters and quests in Hellbound.


Merchant of Mammon


The following items have been added to the Merchant of Mammon:
  • Giant's Energy: 7,000,000 Adena
  • Dynasty Essence: 10,000,000 Adena
  • Dynasty Essence II: 30,000,000 Adena
  • Calculator: 5,000,000 Adena



Mysterious Dyes 

The existing mysterious dyes from the L2 Store have been improved.
A new revelation skill has been added to each of the existing race dyes.
Mysterious Dye Revelation skills can stack with race revelation skills:
  • Mysterious Human Dye – Unbind
  • Mysterious Elf Dye – Prevision
  • Mysterious Dark Elf Dye – Disparition
  • Mysterious Orc Dye – Savage
  • Mysterious Dwarf Dye – Endurance
  • Mysterious Kamael Dye – Soul Protection

Quest Inventory

The following items will now appear in the quest inventory:
  • Proof of Courage
  • Proof of Justice
  • Proof of Fidelity
  • Aku’s Mark
  • Mark of the Resistance
  • Mark of Challenge

R-Grade Armor Set

When R-grade and higher grade armor are enchanted above a certain value, new graphic effects will be displayed:
  • When a full set is enchanted to +6 or +7, a silver effect will be displayed
  • When a full set is enchanted to +8 or higher, a gold effect will be displayed
The following effects for R-grade and higher grade armor have been added:
  • Heavy Armor enchanted to +7: Physical skill MP consumption decreased, MP recovering increased while running.
  • Light Armor enchanted to +7: Skill success rate increased, chance of Vampiric Rage effect.
  • Robe enchanted to +7: Max HP is increased.
  • Heavy Armor enchanted to +8: Chance to reflect debuffs, P.Def. Increased.
  • Light Armor enchanted to +8: Skill cooldown decreased, Spd. Increased.
  • Robe enchanted to +8: Debuff resistance increased, Magic cancel chance decreased.



Steel Door System

Special Abilities and enchantement are now possible on weapons purchased with Steel Door Coins:
  • BEFORE: Purchased Steel Door weapons were 60-Day limited time and did not have special abilities and could not be enchanted.
  • AFTER: Purchased Steel Door weapons are permanent and have one preassigned special ability. Special ability cannot be removed or changed. Augmenting and Elemental Attributing are not possible. Enchantment is possible.
Steel Door Coin items that can be purchased with coins cannot have a permanent change to the item.
All coins are returned when refunding Steel Door Coin items.

Vesper Noble Stones

The quantity of Olympiad Tokens to purchase Vesper Noble Stones has been reduced from 2000 to 200
The quantity of Vesper Noble Stones needed to upgrade a Vesper armor has been changed as follows:

Brooch System

A brooch system has been added, but it is currently unavailable at this time. The compound function in your inventory window is apart of this system.

The sound effect when a monster drops a full item has been changed.
When creating B-grade Dual Swords, Stones of Purity are no longer required.
The Superior R-grade Elixirs sold by Reputation Manager NPC "Rapidus" and "Scipio" have been removed.
You can now purchase level 1 and 2 crafting ingredients from the NPC "Kiki" located in the Town of Giran near the Warehouse Manager building.
When killing a monster, if a character is 11 levels lower or more than the monster's level and is in a party or command channel, no items will drop from the monster even if the character is far away.
The quantity of Gemstones needed to apply a Special Ability on S-grade or lower weapons has been reduced.
Drops from monsters in Awakening hunting grounds have been updated.
Drops from monsters in the Gracia continent have been updated.
Name of some pins for belts has been changed. Lesser Magic 'flutter' pin leather belt, pin leather belt, plug-liter Lesser Magic 'skill.
You can now switch Octavis' and Istina's accessories between warrior and wizard types through the following NPCs:
  • NPC Officer Ramir for Istina's accessories
  • NPC Divine Messenger Lydia for Octavis' Accessories
The graphical effect of excessive R-grade soulshot usage has been changed.
The sound effect from R-grade soulshot has been reduced.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where the incorrect number of items was deducted upon purchasing from NPC Anthony in Ancient City of Arcan.
Fixed an issue where the character's appearance would not be immediately changed upon equipping an item.
Fixed an issue where Thesakar's Spear would not properly display enchantment effects.
Fixed an issue where the Clan Cloak Crest would become invisible upon applying the Metal Suit Appearance.
Fixed an issue where "Corroded Stone of Purity" would still drop in some hunting areas.
Fixed an issue where combining different types of Dynasty Armor (time-limited, event or regular) would not grant the set bonus.
Fixed an issue where the enchantment effect for +6 S80 armor was not properly applied.
Fixed an issue where the event version of the Requiem and Immortal equipment acquired through the mentor system would not be destroyed upon death when chaotic.
Fixed an issue where the "Tauti's Axe" would be classified as a Greatsword in the Auction House.
