Tax System Changes

The territory tax for Gludio and Dion territories has changed. Talking Island Village is now a part of Gludio territory. Floran Village is now a part of Dion territory.

Alco’s sales tax rate in the Ancient City of Arcan has changed from 20% to 30%.

The Aden and Rune castles are now more influential.

  • The clans owning the castles of Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren and Innadril can only collect tax revenue when Aden castle is a Castle of Darkness.
  • The clans owning the Goddard and Schuttgart castles only collect tax revenue when Rune castle is a Castle of Darkness.

Castle tax revenue is deposited every Monday at midnight (server time) into the castle's vault as long as the defense campaign on the highest castle is successful (reference to the campaign only, but that’s on and the castle lord does not change to a different character or NPC. Like all merchant NPCs, the Merchant of Mammon’s sales list is also affected by the tax rate and castle status of the town he is in.
