The racial starting villages have been ruined by rampaging fiends crazed from drinking blood rain, pestilent mist, and the activities of the Earth Wyrm Trasken. After much deliberation, the chiefs of each race decided to abandon their villages. With the approval of King Amadeo Cadmus of Aden, they begin the migration to Talking Island, a place protected by divine power. These refugees rebuilt Talking Island Village, and now all new players start there, regardless of race.
In the Kamael, Orc, Dwarven, Elf, and Dark Elf Villages, all NPCs are gone, and the appearance of these villages is much changed. The villages can still be visited via Gatekeepers and teleport devices, but the former newbie quest series has been removed from the game.

Battle in the Nursery is a timed, point-based game in the Seed of Annihilation zone. Characters can enter the dungeon by standing in one of two red vortexes outside the main entrance to the Seed of the Annihilation. Inside the Nursery instance, characters speak with the NPC to receive directions and initiate the 20-minute timer. For 20 minutes, characters must collect as many Tissue Residues as they can. The residues are collected automatically from the Failed Creation monsters a character kills.
When a Failed Creation dies, there is a chance it will cast an effect called Energy Regeneration on the character. This effect appears on the buff bar with one of three different countdown timers and can be stacked up to three stages. If the character speaks to the NPC before the effect expires, the NPC converts the effect into more Residues.
While fighting in the Nursery, there is a chance that a Maguen will spawn, steal Residues from the character, and run away. Depending on the number of Residues the Maguen steals, the character may be able to target and attack the Maguen. If the character does this successfully, the stolen Residues and extras are returned as a reward.
After the game timer ends, the character turns in the Residues to the NPC in exchange for Bio Energy Crystals. Crystals can be traded for items by speaking with NPC Kirklan at the Keucereus Alliance Base. After completing this dungeon, a character cannot enter it again for one hour. There is no limit to how many times per day a character can enter the dungeon.

The blood rain fell on the Tower of Insolence and seeped through the tower walls, reaching the corpses of high sorcerers within and reanimating them as undead. The revived monsters butchered those who were seduced by the fantasies conjured by Shilen's blood, and took over the tower.
The Tower of Insolence has been revamped to be suitable to characters of levels 60 through 75. Monsters in some areas of the zone have been replaced with new ones, including raid bosses for each floor.

In their continued study of Cruma Tower, the scholars of the Ivory Tower have experienced an increase in work-related injuries while their researchers travel between the tower’s many floors. As a solution, the scholars began to install elevators inside Cruma Tower.
All former Gatekeepers in Cruma Tower have been replaced with Ivory Tower Wizards who offer quests and teleportation to floors on which the elevator does not stop. More monsters of level 50 through 55 have been added to the zone.
Two new raid bosses have been added to the 2nd floor of Cruma Tower:

These areas have been revamped as a continuation of the newbie quest series and of the story of the Goddess of Destruction. The terrible monster Sakum from Ye Sagira was summoned by an unknown organization to the peaceful land of Windmill Hill. However, Sakum went berserk and annihilated the organization that summoned it. Freed from its shackles, Sakum disgorged little clones of itself in the Ruins of Despair and Ruins of Agony to absorb life energy, and hid its main body in the Wastelands.
The appearance and geography of each of these areas has changed and the areas contain some new monsters. The raid bosses Iris and Goya can be found in the Wastelands. They are suitable for characters of around level 40.
With the construction of the Altar of Evil, west of the Dark Elf Village, the area in between the two sites is now populated with the same high-level creatures that haunt the altar.
