Player Meet and Greet: Austin

Players from across the country attended the first ever NCsoft Player Meet and Greet on February 23. Producer Adam Davidson and other members of the Lineage II staff were on hand to answer questions and chat with dedicated players who made the journey to Austin, Texas.

The line to get inside CyberJocks began to form at 4:00 PM, and after the doors opened at 5:00 PM, over one hundred City of Heroes, City of Villains, Lineage, Lineage II, and Guild Wars players descended upon NCsoft staff. Many were eager to try out the upcoming game Auto Assault, show off their own characters, and chat with each other.

Almost all of the attending Lineage II players have been playing since open beta, and have met their fellow players in person before. Venala, a Bishop on the Sieghardt server and one of the winners of the Adena Art Contest, has met up with over seventeen players from across the United States, and had the chance to meet even more at the Meet and Greet.

KingConan of the Devianne server enjoyed the event, where he also met other players for the first time and spent some time sharing his ideas with NCsoft staff.

Several players from the Erica server gathered at the event, from the clans Ponderosa, LosVatosLocos, LawLords, and more. Esai, an Overlord of the clan LasVatosLocos, commented that the event was interesting but needed even more Lineage II players. "We need more word out on L2!" he declared.

Bumps, a Bounty Hunter on Erica, also had this to say about the Player Meet and Greet. "Good idea, and I'd like to see more of it."

Bumps and other players of NCsoft games might just get their wish -- this was just the first Meet and Greet planned for this year. Keep an eye on the official Lineage II web site for upcoming Meet and Greet events this year!

Thank you to Meet and Greet attendees for answering our questions!
