What is the Lineage II 2013 Battle Tournament?

The Lineage II 2013 Battle Tournament is a 7vs7 inter-server team PvP competition that will take place during the month of April 2013 on an Event Server.

A maximum of 32 teams will be elected to participate in the tournament. The tournament structure is divided into two qualification rounds (direct elimination) and 3 final rounds (best 2 out of 3 matches). Eligible players are invited to form teams with each other and enter the tournament to prove themselves the greatest PvP players of all!

Anyone can participate in the tournament provided they meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. All team members must be of a different Awakening class
  2. All team members must be level 85 or higher and Awakened
  3. All team members must be from the same server
  4. A player may be on one team only
  5. The team must be composed of a maximum of 7 members and 2 reserve members
  6. The Team Representative must pay a participation fee of 350 million adena
  7. The participation fee will be collected only if the team is qualified to enter the tournament

You can register your team on the 2013 Battle Tournament | Registration page. Only one registration per team is necessary, and the player making the registration will become the team representative.

Due to the great response to the tournament, we will be closing registration early on March 18 at 12:00pm PST. Any submission or request for modification made after this date will not be taken into consideration.

Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Each server will have a limited number of teams that can register in order to have a balanced number of teams from each server.

Basic rules:

  1. Participants will play in the tournament with a pre-made level 99 character that will be set up on the Event Server. Each participant will be given a set of R99-grade equipment (weapons, armor, and jewelry).
  2. Skill enchantments, item enchantments, augmentation and clan skills cannot be acquired on the Event Server.
  3. Acquired items cannot be exchanged.
  4. If a player is found to be using items or skills that differ from the pre-made settings, the player and their tournament team will be disqualified.
  5. Tournament matches will not be delayed due to player-side connection issues or real-life problems.

    • If a player starts the match before the start message, a warning will be given. After 2 warnings, that player will be disqualified.
    • If a player disconnects during a match, the match will continue without that particular team member.
  6. In case of a server crash during a tournament match:

    • If the difference in the number of remaining team members exceeds 2, the side with more players is victorious.
    • If the difference in the number of remaining team members is 1 or below, a re-match will take place.
  7. NCSOFT employees and relatives cannot participate.

Combat rules:

  1. All MP, HP, and CP are automatically recovered prior to the start of the match.
  2. Non-Usable Items and Skills:

    • All scrolls (including resurrection scrolls) and recovery-type items cannot be used. (This includes items such as the “L2 Day” scroll series, Healing Potions, Elixirs of CP, Greater Haste Potions, Greater Alacrity Potions, and Greater Casting Speed Potions.)
    • All types of Hero skills and items.
    • HP- decreasing debuffs (for example: Frenzy, Zealot) cannot be used prior to the beginning of the match.
    • Teleportation skills can be used, but if you move outside of the arena you will be disqualified.
    • All types of pets.
  3. If your character’s HP falls to 0 during the match, you must never click "To the Nearest Village." in the resurrection option. If a character clicks "To the Nearest Village" during the match, that character will be disqualified, unless this action was specifically requested by the referee.
  4. Various weapons can be used according to the character’s combat strategy.
  5. The match ends upon display of the “Match Complete” message. At the end of the match, the referee ends the match and declares the winner. Upon the referee’s request, all players can then click "To the Nearest Village." and leave the arena.
