20th Anniversary Hide & Seek Community Event

Event Times: May 3 (Aden & Classic Servers) and May 10 (Live Servers)

Are you ready to take hide and seek to the next level? As a part of the "20th Anniversary GM Event Fridays", we will be hosting a new hide and seek event with a special live-streamed twist. 

Across the entire dangerous map of Lineage II, many special rabbits will be hidden in locations all over the Lineage II map. Many of these rabbits contain special items inside, but two rabbits above all, will contain a Grand Prize. 

To make the Grand Prize Rabbit search more exciting, we will be broadcasting their locations LIVE on Twitch through two rounds per server! This means players will be able to see a live view of the Rabbit on Twitch, get clues on their locations, and see if other players find it first! After the two rounds are complete, we will host 15 minute GM Buffs to celebrate.

Can you scale the entire map of Lineage II to find and claim these coveted furry treasures? Be the first to slay the Rabbit in front of all the viewers to become the Hide n' Seek Champ. But be careful out there warriors - most of the L2 map is full of PvP zones, so tread lightly during your search. It could get... hairy.

 

Rules and Guidelines

- 30x Decoy Rabbits will be spawned for the entire duration of your server's Hide and Seek event time. They will not be removed until maintenance on Tuesday. We will also not be able to tell if they've all been killed. They are simply here to distract you from finding the Grand Prize Rabbits. The decoy rabbits will look exactly the same as the Grand Prize Rabbits. The only difference is what they will drop.

- There will be 2x 20 Minute Rounds to find the Grand Prize Rabbits. This means you have two chances to find a Grand Prize Rabbit. If the Rabbit is found before 20 minutes, we will wait the entire 20 minutes until the round is over.

- The live-stream camera will slowly zoom out, revealing more of the location as we approach the end of 20 minutes. If the Grand Prize Rabbit is not discovered near the end of 15 minutes, the camera will fully zoom out to reveal the full location of the Grand Prize Rabbit.

-  All Rabbit's will be spawned outside, on the main map only. No rabbits will be spawned in instances or world servers.

- The Lineage II map is almost entirely PvP. Expect these Rabbits to be in PvP locations. It is very possible if more than one person finds a Rabbit at the same time, there could be a battle to the death over the cute furry creature. It is also very possible that you find the Rabbits before anyone else, avoiding all fights. Only the Wabbit's destiny will decide!

- One player cannot win both rounds of the Grand Prize Rabbit. You can only win once. If you win the first round, please do not participate in the second one, and instead, feel free to gloat in world chat or Discord while the second round happens.

- Didn't find any Rabbits? Don't fret! Come join us for 15 Minute GM Buffs immediately after the 2x Grand Prize Rabbit rounds in Talking Island Village (Aden and Classic) or Fantasy Isle (Live) during your specific server's event.

How to Participate

1. Check the schedule below for your server's Hide and Seek times.

2. Follow our Twitch channel here, and tune in at the beginning of your round.

3. Once the First Round begins, 30x Decoy Rabbits will be spawned in unknown locations throughout the entire map. These locations will not be revealed, they are simply decoys and nothing more. You will know if they are decoys by the prizes they drop and you will most likely only find them by accident during your hunt for the Grand Prize Rabbits.

4. The First Grand Prize Rabbit will be spawned at the start of the First Round and will begin being broadcasted LIVE on Twitch.

5. Use the Twitch stream to search for clues on the Grand Prize Rabbit's location.

6. You will have 20 minutes to search for the first Grand Prize Rabbit during Round 1.

7. After the First Grand Prize Rabbit is killed during Round 1. A 20 minute reset period will begin while the Second Grand Prize Rabbit is hidden.

8. When Round 2 begins, you will again have 20 minutes to find the 2nd Grand Prize Rabbit.

9. After the Second Grand Prize Rabbit is killed during Round 2. Travel to Talking Island Village (Aden and Classic) or Fantasy Isle (Live) for a celebratory 15 minutes of GM Buffs for all!

10. If you have killed one of the Grand Prize Rabbits, DM the Community Manager, Rownen, on Discord to receive a special Hide n' Seek Champion Discord Role!

Event Schedule  

The Hide & Seek event will be split over two Fridays. If your server does not have the Hide and Seek event, it will instead have GM Buffs. Please check your game type participation date below:
